The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party understands precisely where to go next after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the team enter places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Explorers and Planners parties.

Audiences can expect learning which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
